Parents were horrified when they discovered that school board members had approved a curriculum that featured “child pornography” for students. So, the mayor gave the educators an ultimatum.
Families were mortified when they discovered that students at Hudson City Schools were given books filled with debauched content not only prompting students to write about lewd acts but encouraging them to engage in illegal conduct. Fortunately, Mayor Craig Shubert read the lesson plan and decided to intervene.
Parents across the nation are finally waking up to the fact that the government education system doesn’t have their children’s best interests at heart. Public schools have seemingly become nothing more than political indoctrination factories hellbent on sexually liberating children and turning them into social justice warriors.
During a public meeting of the Hudson Board of Education, Mayor Craig Shubert stepped in front of the microphone to address the members, The Blaze reports. In a brief but blistering speech, the mayor gave the board members a shocking ultimatum — either step down from the board or face criminal charges for distributing child pornography.
“It has come to my attention that your educators are distributing essentially what is child pornography in the classroom,” Shubert said. “I’ve spoken to a judge this evening. She’s already confirmed that. So I’m going to give you a simple choice: Either you choose to resign from this board of education, or you will be charged. Thank you.”
The crowd erupted in applause as indignant community members felt vindicated. Parents have relentlessly brought up complaints particularly concerning an assigned journal that’s part of a literary course. The book, “642 Things to Write About”, contains numerous writing prompts that are illicit or sexual in nature.
Parents said there was a prompt that asked students to “write a sex scene you wouldn’t show your mom,” and another which said “rewrite the sex scene from above into one that you’d let your mom read.”
Another prompt asked students to drink a beer and describe how it tastes. Parents said they felt these writing prompts and others were not appropriate for high school students.

Some of the prompts were shared on social media, giving parents a disturbing view of what their children are being taught in the classroom.
- Describe your favorite part of a man’s body using only verbs.
- Write a sex scene you wouldn’t show your mom.
- Rewrite the sex scene from above into one that you’d let your mom read.
- Drink a beer. Write about the taste.
- Write an X-rated Disney scenario.
- A roomful of people who want to have sex.
- Write a sermon for a beloved preacher who has been caught in a sex scandal.
- Describe a time when you wanted to orgasm but couldn’t.
- Ten euphemisms for sex.
One parent claimed that students were told not to bring the book home “so their parents couldn’t see it.” An angry father went on to demand cameras in every classroom for parents to monitor what their children are learning.
Superintendent Phil Herman agreed that the “inappropriate and offensive writing prompts” were part of a supplemental resource for high school students, but he claimed that they weren’t going to be used in the classroom. However, he said that the board mistakenly overlooked these themes and would replace the book as soon as possible.
“We did not exercise due diligence when we reviewed this resource and as a result, we overlooked several writing prompts among the 642 that are not appropriate for our high school audience,” Wilch added, according to the Beacon Journal. “… We feel terrible. At no time were any of these inappropriate prompts selected or discussed, but still they were there and they were viewable, and you can’t unsee them.”
Ohio School Boards Association Staff Attorney Ralph Lusher explained that he’s “never heard of criminals charges for curriculum” being brought against board members. However, it doesn’t mean that such a case would have no chance of success.
Whether the board members failed to properly review the curriculum or approved it knowing what is contained is irrelevant. They are too incompetent to handle matters pertaining to the education of children and must be removed.
While it would be the ideal outcome, the parents shouldn’t rely on the threat of criminal charges to keep such evil from their children. Families have to start stepping up and being involved in their children’s education on all fronts.
