A “woke” California teacher was placed under investigation after parents discovered that he had assigned students a test that dehumanized conservatives and ultimately crossed the line.
A California school launched an investigation after an educator bashed people with conservative leanings, comparing them to a racist hate group. The unidentified social sciences teacher at Whitney High School in Rocklin came under fire once a parent shared a screenshot of one of the bigoted questions.
As the government tightens its grasp on the education system, parents are realizing that their children are being indoctrinated with far-left dogma. Disturbingly, this political proselytizing has become so prevalent in schools that teachers are becoming bolder with their propaganda.
The parent posted a photo of a test question, which asked students to identify “A group of complete idiots.” The question forced students to choose from four answers, which included “KKK,” “all of Florida,” “Fox News,” or “Texans,” KTXL reports. While the Ku Klux Klan should be the obvious choice, the question intends to suggest that demographics many consider to be politically conservative are comparable to the infamous hate group.
“These stories have gone in one ear and out the other,” said Jessa Krissovich, who shared the screenshot in question to social media. “It sounded unbelievable.”
Another parent expressed his fear of a backlash against his child, who attends the class and holds conservative beliefs. He pointed out that there is a clear political bias in the classroom that’s being promulgated by the teacher.
“The question on the test is really blatant obviously and that’s out there,” the parent said. “This has been the first time it has been looked at of him crossing the line.”
Parents say that this isn’t the first time the teacher berated those who don’t align with the leftist narrative. However, they feel that putting such a question on a test for academic credit crosses a professional and ethical line.
“We all have different beliefs,” Krissovich said. “This is the United States and we all come from different backgrounds and everybody should be okay with who they are.”
Former students of the teacher explained that he would often “joke” about politics but sometimes took things too far, according to KCRA.
“I understand he’s just trying to make a joke, but that kind of stuff shouldn’t be on a test,” said Whitney High School student Joel Alquicira, who said he had the social science teacher in a previous year. “He was always like a funny kind of teacher. He would always make jokes.”
Following complaints by parents, Whitney High School sent out a letter to families, explaining that they would look into the incident before making a decision. The letter acknowledged that “students, families and the Rockling community have raised concern about the class assignment” and that “the Whitney High School Administration Team and the Rocklin Unified School District recognizes and shares their concerns and is conducting a thorough investigation.”
The school said that “appropriate disciplinary steps will be taken” but added that these steps would “remain confidential.” The letter concluded that the school is opposed to “any campus incident that may make a group of students feel uncomfortable” and hopes that the community will be strengthened by its “shared experiences.”
The dehumanization of conservatives is becoming the norm because the leftist narrative is the standard in the education system. When the curricula, teachers, and board members are mostly progressives, it’s not surprising that leftist propaganda rules the schools.
Unless parents start standing up to these educators and voting out school board members, the political indoctrination in the school system will continue to grow more radical and more intolerant.
