Teacher Bullies Student For Refusing To See ‘Racial Differences’

A “woke” teacher berated and humiliated a student after the teen refused to categorize people based on their “racial differences.” However, it was the clever teen who taught the teacher a lesson.

Far-left wokeism has fully infected the education system, tainting almost every subject with Critical Race Theory. Disturbingly, children are being indoctrinated to believe that their skin color is the penultimate factor of their identity. Predictably, this has created a hierarchy in which certain students are considered privileged oppressors while others are treated as morally superior victims.

Proving just how deep this indoctrination runs, a leaked video was uploaded to social media, showing what happens if a child doesn’t accept without question the idea that people are to be judge based on their physical appearance.

According to The Daily Wire, the footage shows a Virginia teacher in Loudoun County Public School district candidly discussing an assignment with a student, which oddly involved forcing the teen to point out racial discrepancies between two women. Initially, the male teacher asks what the student sees in the picture, only to infer that his answer is wrong.

Teacher: Tell me what this seems to be a picture of.

Student: It’s just two people chillin’.

Teacher: Right, just two people. Nothing more to that picture?

Student: Nah, not really. Just two people chillin’.

Teacher: I don’t believe that you believe that. I don’t believe that you look at this as just two people.

As the student refuses to focus on the women’s ethnic makeup, the teacher grows more irate. Ultimately, the teacher invokes the student to say that there are undeniable “racial differences.” Incredibly, the teen stands firm, calling out the teacher for “feeding into the problem of looking at race” instead of refraining from preconceived assumptions.

Student: I’m confused on what you would like me to speak on.

Teacher: I don’t think you are. I don’t know why you do this. I’m not trying to call you out, but you … you act as if there’s nothing noticeable about this apart from the fact that there’s two people.

Student: Well I’m confused. Are you trying to get me to say that there are two different races in this picture?

Teacher: Yes, I am asking you to say that.

Student: Well, at the end of the day, wouldn’t that just be feeding into the problem of looking at race instead of just acknowledging them as two normal people?

While the student proved himself wise beyond his years, his philosophy was truer in this instant than he knew. Perhaps the biggest irony of the lesson is that the women the teacher chose to highlight “racial differences” are actually the same race. In fact, they have the exact same genetic makeup.

As it turns out, the “black” and “white” women in the photo are fraternal twin sisters Maria and Lucy Aylmer, who were born to a white father and black mother. Thanks to the mystery of genetics, Lucy has a porcelain complexion, red hair, and blue eyes. Contrastingly, Maria has dark skin, black curls, and brown eyes.

The Aylmer twins have been the subject of documentaries and interviews due to their drastically dissimilar appearances. Despite being equivalently biracial, the sisters complain that they are constantly judged by their skin color. Contradictory to what race-based curricula are teaching, it was Lucy who suffered because of her skin color growing up. “They thought I was adopted, called me a ghost,” she said through tears.

Unsurprisingly, the lesson caused angry parents to contact the school, prompting a response from school board member Beth Barts, who has sparked controversy by participating in the doxing of parents who opposed Critical Race Theory (CRT).

“For the parents who emailed us about the slides from a high school class that they felt indicated LCPS is teaching Critical Race Theory and demanded we seek answers,” Barts said. “The video (that has now made its way to social media) is an excerpt of a class discussion in a ‘Dual Enrollment College Level English course’ (note the college) in which students were exposed to different literacy theories as a way of critiquing different pieces of literature. CRT was an example of a theory that can be applied to literary criticism. Other theories such as structuralism, deconstructionism, and feminism were also shared.” She concluded by claiming that “LCPS is not teaching CRT nor has our staff been trained in CRT.”

The teacher unknowingly proved that his lesson was useless and illogical. Thankfully, there was a wise teenager there to point out the fallacies and contradictions in his reasoning. Sadly, this isn’t the case for every classroom, and millions of impressionable young minds are gobbling up this destructive and divisive teaching.

Critical Race Theory is being taught to our children because we refuse to stand up to the schools that we fund with our tax dollars. If more parents would get involved, far-left politics wouldn’t be driving academia.
