James Woods joined fellow actor Jonathan Roumie, the star of the hit series “The Chosen,” in exposing the true extent of evil in Hollywood.
On Twitter, actor James Woods interacts with his followers by frequently responding to their questions and comments. Breitbart reports that Woods responded to a question from a fan on the true scope of evil in Hollywood in a since-deleted tweet.
“James, serious question. As someone who has enormous respect for your talent as an actor, I’m curious – how evil is Hollywood?” asked the Twitter user, to which Woods replied, “Multiply your worst fears by 100.” The Once Upon a Time in America star did not elaborate on the answer, and the tweet was later deleted.
In 2017, Woods criticized Hollywood over the movie Call Me by Your Name which was billed as a “gay romantic drama involving an affair between a teenager and a 24-year-old.” Woods compared the highly-celebrated film to “NAMBLA” (North American Man/Boy Love Association). “As they quietly chip away at the last barriers of decency. #NAMBLA,” Woods tweeted on how liberals in Hollywood praised the movie.
Woods also made a lot of noise about Hollywood putting him on the blacklist. “I’ve been a target of these people for six years,” the actor told Tucker Carlson in December 2022. “They have destroyed my career. They have destroyed my livelihood. They’ve destroyed my faith in a country that my family has defended in the military since the Revolutionary War.”
“Scratch a liberal and you will find a fascist every time,” Woods said. “These Democrats — and now I can say it because they are now my enemy — they declared this, not me. But when they go around calling everybody, ‘Oh this one’s a fascist’ and so on — you know who the fascists are? ‘Scratch a liberal and you will find a fascist every time.’ Every time.”
Not just Woods has criticized the evil in Hollywood. Actor Jonathan Roumie, who spoke at the March for Life in 2023, echoed his points and used strong language. “For some time now, we have been witnesses to a mounting polarity between light and dark. We’ve seen it manifest itself in many facets of culture,” Roumie said.
“But I would like to address as I see it as an artist in the entertainment industry,” Roumie continued. “In the last several years there’s been a sharp and disturbing increase in the darkness of the imagery being used in film, television, and music. The landscape has become increasingly sinister. And in some cases, even demonic in tone. More so than in previous years. Sometimes subliminal. Oftentimes overt,” he added.
“Storylines involving the occult, witchcraft, demons, and even Satanic elements are commonplace in mainstream programming,” Roumie furthered. “Many feature spiritually and psychologically disturbing content.” Roumie later explained how “media has become a portal to behavior and attitudes kids want to emulate that reject God, reject the light, and reject, ultimately, all those aspects of community which give life.”
The Chosen star continued his strong remarks, making his beliefs known. “I have observed God subtly, but radically being removed from public popular culture over the last couple of decades. Replaced with some of the most corruptive images and ideologies for young hearts and minds,” Roumie declared.
James Woods is pleased to defend other conservative Christian actors in a similar situation, but he admitted that being outspoken has had a negative impact. “It’s a big price to pay. It’s not a lot of fun. I loved my career for 50 years. I was happy to be an award-winning and honored and appreciated actor. And I miss my career and these people took it from me. And they’ll pay a price later in my life,” he said, adding, “but I have to say, I am not going to take it sitting down. I think these people are vermin for doing this to other people.”
