Tucker Carlson made headlines when he torched Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The Fox News host was described by U.K. news outlets as making a “scathing prime-time rebuke” of the couple that they “may never live down.”
Tucker Carlson rarely comments on scandals coming out of the United Kingdom unless they have a political slant. However, the Fox News anchor made an exception when it came to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after the publicity-seeking couple started lecturing Americans on a variety of issues.
News outlets in the U.K. reported that Harry and Meghan had been branded as “grifters” by Carlson. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have also been called “pathetic” and “irrelevant” by Judge Jeanine Pirro, who said “nobody cares” what Harry thinks in America. After the royal pair attempted to censor Joe Rogan in 2022, Carlson declared, “That annoying fake duchess from LA and her brain-dead husband threatened to walk unless Spotify muzzled Joe Rogan.”
After Harry released his memoir Spare, Carlson had a few things to say about it. “Prince Harry and that woman from L.A. are running out of money,” he said. “How do we know that? Because they are still talking about themselves. Telling the most boring little details from their boring little lives for more money. So, to that end, Prince Harry has resorted to telling us even more about a dramatic altercation he had with his brother that wasn’t that dramatic. Quote: ‘He set down the water, called me another name, and then came after me, he said in his book.'”
‘Huh?” Carlson added while shaking his head. “But for some reason, a lot of news agencies in this country are deeply invested in the details of this boring man’s boring life.” After playing a clip of Harry relaying this story on Good Morning America, Carlson said, “So, two brothers who had tension between them…it’s breaking news on Good Moring America!” Carlson then introduced Father Calvin Robinson, who is an Anglican priest, to get his take on the couple.
Prince Harry claims William and Kate approved his decision to wear a Nazi uniform to a party.

“I think we’re all sick and tired of Meghan and Harry whining and moaning and going on and on,” Father Robinson said. “I’m past frustration. I’m actually feeling sorry for Harry now. He’s using really juvenile language ..he’s quite immature. I don’t know any other grown man who talks about their private parts as their ‘todger.’ You know he talks about ‘mounting a woman.’ This is the kind of conversation you expect to hear at a primary school.”
“He talks about his brother as his ‘arch nemesis,'” the priest added. “How many adults have an arch nemesis? He seems to live in a fantasy world. In the excerpts we see that Meghan was ‘singing to the seals’ and Harry says ‘she’s magical’ because the ‘seals sang back.’ These people are delusional. This is not good, and they need to seek help. They need to stop talking to the press, stop airing their dirty laundry, and actually get some professional help.”
Carlson asked the Anglican priest what happens to people’s souls “if you never stop talking about yourself?” Father Robinson said the couple’s behavior is the end result of “narcissism.” He added, “They never take personal responsibility for anything. You don’t have to wear a Nazi uniform to a party if you don’t want to.” In his memoir, Harry claimed “William and Kate” told him to wear a Nazi costume. “No one believed that,” the priest declared.
Meghan’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, also had an interview with Tucker Carlson. “My half-sister, who I hadn’t seen in over a decade and that was only for a day-and-a-half… suddenly it felt like she was everywhere,” Meghan said in her Netflix series. “I don’t know your middle name, I don’t know your birthday, you’re telling these people that you raised me and that you’ve coined me ‘Princess Pushy?’”
Samantha Markle fired back. “I can’t believe we were essentially looking at a $100 million fake news PR machine,” Samantha told Tucker, referring to Meghan’s “paid” publicity team. “It’s projection at its finest. And it’s almost comical.” Samantha spoke about how she was informed of an “entrenched media agenda” against her as early as 2018 in London with a “series of fake news stories” that she couldn’t combat. “Eventually the truth comes out and when it does, and when the dust settles, I thought, you know, truth has to stand for something. Truth wins,” Samantha said.
Meghan also claimed in the docuseries she “took care” of her grandmother in her “final years,” which her half-sister also refuted. “I think my grandmother would be rolling over in her grave if she saw that,” Samantha said. “And she didn’t take care of her. She visited her. She never made apple butter with her because my grandmother was making apple butter, like, in the 1970s before Meghan was even born. So it’s been so far-fetched. It’s like a tragic comedy, especially sadly for our family and for the Royals. And here we are.”
