James Woods took aim at the ladies of “The View.” The veteran actor brazenly called one of them an “ugly racist” and made a prediction about the show’s future. It went viral.
Actor James Woods was apparently upset over a discussion that took place on The View. Host Sunny Hostin claimed white suburban women voting for Republicans are “like roaches” voting for bug spray. “I read a poll just yesterday that white, Republican, suburban women are now going to vote Republican,” Hostin said. “It’s almost like roaches voting for RAID, right?”
Although the description by Hostin was offensive to Woods, the two-time Academy Award nominee had a very Constitutional approach to his criticism and made a prediction about the show’s “hateful” rhetoric. “Recently an ugly racist on a lefty talk show conflated white suburban women with cockroaches,” Woods posted on Twitter. “Do I think her vile hate speech should be banned?”
“Surprisingly I feel just the opposite,” Woods wrote. “I want her heard everywhere. Why? Because nothing destroys the hateful like their own words!” Many agreed with his viral post on free speech and the potential future of the ladies of The View. “EXACTLY!! They expose themselves and end up going down in flames!” replied one Twitter user. “Amen!” posted another. “Spew your hatred for the world to see! True colors shining through!!!”
Another social media user wrote: “I want it all heard! I want everyone to be able to witness & hear her vitriol and hatred!” One fan responded, “I love free speech. I also love that I can choose not to watch a lame show with flaming racists without melting down.”
EXACTLY!!They expose themselves and end up going down in flames!

Additionally, Woods was vocal about many liberals vowing to leave Twitter after Elon Musk took over the social media platform and reinstated former President Donald Trump’s account. “So liberals applauded the suppression of millions of conservatives, including a POTUS,” he posted. “They now have their panties in a twist that everybody has an equally free voice.”
“Note that they aren’t being suppressed in any way whatsoever,” he added. “They’re just enraged that we aren’t any longer.” Twitter user Robert Johnson agreed and responded to Woods with a quote from P.J. O’Rourke: “At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child — miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied, demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic and useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats.”
However, not everyone agreed with James Woods. “It speaks volumes that you think people shouldn’t be punished for violating rules and laws,” responded one Twitter user. That caused this response: “Like entering our country illegally? Like our government working with the FBI to label concerned parents as ‘domestic terrorists? Like allowing Antifa to burn down, loot and terrorize cities for months in the end with no repercussions? Like that?” replied “Truthwarrior.”
Woods continued with his free speech theme when he blasted London Mayor Saddiq Khan who was also miffed about Trump’s Twitter account. “Trump is a dangerous, far-right politician who has a history of inciting violence,” Khan posted. “He must not be allowed to use social media to preach hate and further fuel the politics of division.”
We fought a Revolution to overturn oppression of free speech and other violations of human rights. Since then America and the United Kingdom have forged one of history’s great international friendships.
We cherish free speech now. Even yours, as petty and nasty as it may be. https://t.co/qgaVv7YlTQ

One citizen of the United Kingdom took issue with the mayor of London. “I am British I live in County Durham in the North East of England,” Andrew Morrison wrote. “I can assure you Saddiq Khan does not speak for Britain he barely speaks for London.” James Woods was especially brutal to one former Twitter employee who was complaining about the new rules. “You all banned or suppressed millions of Americans because you didn’t like their politics,” Woods wrote. “Eat sh*t, every one of you.”
