Dan Bongino was excited to see comedian Dave Chappelle stun the “rich liberal” audience at Saturday Night Live with his take on Donald Trump and MAGA voters. Chappelle did a “fake” monologue during rehearsal, sources said, and then he switched his material for the live show. “You gotta watch this,” Bongino declared. “Dave Chappelle really stunned them.”

Dave Chappelle refuses to go along with the “woke” Hollywood culture. When he was invited to host Saturday Night Live, he devised a plan to avoid having his content censored. According to Page Six, Dave Chappelle did a “fake” Saturday Night Live monologue during the show’s dress rehearsal, sources said, and then switched his material for the live show.

“Dave does a fake monologue during the dress rehearsal, because he doesn’t want [‘SNL’ creator] Lorne Michaels, or anyone else, to know what his real monologue is,” the source revealed. The source added that Chappelle made a joke during the dress rehearsal about a writer who refused to work with him on the show.

Chappelle lives in the small town of Yellow Springs, Ohio where he spent his summers growing up. The comedian made headlines and gained the approval of his middle-class neighbors when he bought up 52 acres that a big developer had planned for a huge subdivision of low-income housing. So when Dan Bongino heard Chappelle’s monologue, he was immediately struck with one segment on former President Donald Trump and Ohio voters.

“Dave Chapelle goes on Saturday Night Live and gives the single best explanation…the Democrats should listen to this,” Bongino began. “It’s about one minute fifty seconds but I couldn’t cut it because it’s so good. Here’s Dave Chapelle explaining…because he lives in Ohio amongst what he calls the ‘poor whites’…his words, not mine…why rich liberals will never understand Trump and what he thinks is behind it.”

“I’m watching the news now and they’re declaring the end of the Trump era,” Chappelle began. “Now, OK, in New York I can see where you might believe this is the end of his era. But, I’m just being honest with you. I live in Ohio amongst the poor whites and a lot of you don’t understand why Trump was so popular. But, I get it. I hear it every day. He’s very loved. And the reason he’s loved is because people in Ohio have never seen somebody like him.”

“He’s what I call an honest liar. And I’m not joking right now,” Chappelle added. “That first debate. That first debate I’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve never seen a white male billionaire screaming at the top of his lungs: ‘This whole system is rigged!’ He said. And across the stage was the white woman, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama sitting over there looking at him like: ‘No, it’s not!’ I said: ‘Well, wait a minute bro. It’s what he said.'”

“And the moderator said: ‘Well, Mr. Trump, if in fact the system is rigged, as you suggest, what would be your evidence?’ Chappelle added. “Remember what he said, bro? He said: ‘I know the system is rigged because I use it.’ And I said, ‘God damn!’ No one ever heard anyone say something that true.”

“And then Hillary Clinton tried to punch him with the taxes: ‘This man doesn’t pay his taxes!'” Chappelle continued. “And he shot right back: ‘That makes me smart!’ And then he said: ‘If you want me to pay my taxes, then change the tax code, but I know you won’t. Because your friends and your donors enjoy the same tax breaks that I do. And with that, my friends, a star was born.”

After watching the clip, Dan Bongino shared his thoughts. “Have you ever heard a better explanation of the Trump phenomena or the MAGA movement than that?” he said. “A guy who acknowledges his role in being part of a system he hates and then runs against it?”

“Hey. I dispute some of what [Chapelle] says,” the former Secret Service agent added. “But he’s a funny guy. His insights there…I sent that to my Fox group immediately and said, ‘you gotta watch this.’ I think it’s one of the most amazing analyses. Sometimes it takes an outsider like Chappelle to analyze a situation as accurately as he just did.” After Bongino’s producer disagreed saying there was much more to the “making” of Trump than what Chappelle claimed, the Fox News host stated: “Yeah, I agree. It’s not a 51-page white paper. But it’s a good summation.”
